Some friends invited Nate and I out to Red Hill (wine country) for Easter weekend. We stayed at a quaint little house with beautiful views and an inviting wood burning fireplace. We spent the days visiting wineries & breweries, eating cheese & chocolate, and visiting shops in little sea-side towns. We bought live mussels down on the pier to eat fireside with fresh bread and wine. The sun made numerous appearances and was unusually warm for late April. Needless to say, it was a great weekend.
A new favourite winery, Port Phillip Estate, has beautiful wines and incredible architecture. Natural materials, such as wood, glass, metal and concrete were used in this space; it's absolutely stunning and Wood Marsh Architecture can take the credit.
Couldn't leave without visiting Red Hill Brewery for one of their tasty beers out on their back patio.
