DIY Jewelry

Making jewelry is a craft I've always wanted to tackle. How hard can it be? Some string, chain, clasps & beads...but then there's the task of coming up with an attainable design that's simple and stylish. I feel as if there are many DIY ideas which may satisfy ones desperate need to be crafty, but when it comes down to it, they are downright ugly. There's an abundance of tacky DIY jewelry projects out there and I rarely see anything that seems do-able while at the same time remaining wearable. Well, here are a few awesome ideas using simple things like rope, hex nuts, chains and wooden beads. Simple, chic jewelry I would proudly make and wear.
