Queen Anne Dresser
The lighting this day was perfect for a photo shoot, so I walked down to the flower shop with Nate and the pooch where we picked up these yellow pom poms. They are the perfect flower to place as singles or pairs in individual vases. I was pretty happy with the results of this Queen Anne dresser. I decided to keep the original handles because they had a nice black patina, which always works well with the distressed look.

Hi Kris,
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous piece of furniture as always! I was wondering what you recommend when it comes to the inside of a piece - do you paint the inside? I'm planning on painting a console table that has 3 drawers, and not sure where to stop (also I'm thinking the paint might rub off where the drawers rub, which might look nice and distressed or it might just look messy)!
See you soon :)

Personally, I don't paint the insides. It's just not worth it. I did the outside of the drawer boxes once, but wish I hadn't. The paint made it difficult to open/close the drawers and just didn't run so smooth. If you are worried about how it'll look, just tape it off nicely :)
