Since moving to Australia, I have become familiar with Aboriginal style art and have come to fall in love with it. It's not only the vibrant dreamy colours that take my breath away, but the concept of all things in nature is truly inspirational. My favourite paintings are of the bush medicine leaves. Gloria Petyarre is one of the best. She's featured in many Art exhibits and museums and has been painting for many, many years. I fell hard for this painting by Gloria and snapped it up with some birthday money I had from my in-laws. It's always nice to purchase something with that bday cash you will cherish for many years to come.
