I picked up this bedroom set a while back for $50. Quite the bargain, if I do say so myself! It was hard to decide whether or not I should attempt to chip off some of the appliqués to simplify things a bit. I thought it might be a bit more hassle than it's worth, and decided to keep them in all their swirly twirly glory. Instead, I chose not to distress this set and give it a clean white finish. It was already quite busy looking and definitely didn't need more. With the addition of some simple knobs and a drop pull to the centre door, this set turned out to be quite the stunner.
Unfortunately, I can't find any before photos of this headboard.
