Transformation

I posted a while back (here) about a piece of furniture I picked up on Ebay which had loads of potential for a complete makeover. Well, with a little free time and multiple trips to Bunnings for supplies, I have finally completed the transformation!

Here it is before I got my hands on it:




The hideous orange stain, wooden knobs and decorative back plate ALL had to go.

And here is the outcome; the fruits of my labour:






I had a lot of fun working on this piece. It's a great way to be creative and seeing the finished result is extremely satisfying. Turned out better than expected. I was actually really attached to it and kind of sad to see it go (I sold it on Ebay) Oh well...on to the next!
